Tuyen's story

Tuyen was born in 1995. She lives in Yen Phong, Bac Ninh, Vietnam. She is a Business Administration major at the Thai Nguyen Economic and Business Administration University. Her course lasts four years and she will be graduated in 2017. The woman who is sitting next to her in this picture is her mother.

Tuyen’s family has five members. Her parents are farmers. Her father also works as a construction worker to earn a living. She has a brother and two sisters. She is the only one in her family who has tried her best to seek higher education. Her family’s income is about 10,000,000 VND.

She has a passion for the major she is studying because she thinks that it can be developed well in the near future. She said that this major is suitable to the country’s industrialization and modernization process. Tuyen believes that after finishing this course, she will have knowledge and opportunities to apply to a company and get a high-paid job.

She wants to borrow 10,098,000 VND to buy a computer to support her major. Besides the lack of studying tools, she has other difficulties, such as her living costs and transportation fees. Through this program, she wants to tell people that she appreciates the help of people all around the world who have contributed to this kind of program. This program has provided a lot to her education as an individual, and also to the Vietnamese youth generation in general.
