A loan of $900 helped to buy wholesale clothing for her business.

Olimpia's story

Olimpia, 48 years old, is a hard working woman who lives in a rented home with her 4 children (only two of them are studying). Her children are still very young, and for this reason she needs to double her efforts to be able to offer the best to them, so that they can get ahead in life.

While her husband works in construction, as a mason, she begins the day by preparing delicious dishes for her family, but since she is a very hardworking person, she also sells clothing to the residents in her community. Her customers are grateful to her because she offers the possibility of buying on credit, accepting payments later on. Now, Olimpia wishes to increase her income in order to open a clothing store, and stop selling door-to-door.

This is Olimpia’s first Kiva loan, and she feels very happy because with enough money she will improve her business and as a result her quality of life.
Olimpia will invest the loan of S/2500 soles to buy wholesale clothing for her business.
