A loan of $900 helped to buy agriculture supplies to use on and improve her coffee crops.

Domitila's story

Domitila, 34, is the mother of two children. She is married and lives with her husband. They both work in agriculture and their specialty is planting, harvesting, and selling coffee. She went to school through fourth grade in primary school, which she was able to complete due to financial help from her parents. Her parents taught her to work the land from a young age in addition to some other skills from various institutions that work to help people in the country build cultivation skills. Her crops are near her home, which she gets to by walking to care for them and perform maintenance. One of her biggest challenges is the rising prices in the market for supplies that she uses to help her coffee crops. Her competition doesn't consider this to be a problem.

Her plans for the future are to increase her coffee crop size by buying land. This will increase her income for the well-being of her family and allow her to save capital so she can send her children to college.

For this reason, she is requesting a loan to buy agriculture supplies such as urea, 18-46-0 formula, nutrí café and other items that will help her grow and protect her coffee crops.
