A loan of $200 helped to buy snacks.

Flor's story

Flor is 31 years old, and lives in her parents’ house with her daughter in the Pucara district. Since it is in a warm climate, the population works in the farming of fruit trees, rice, coffee, and cocoa, two hours from the Jaen Province, which is part of the Cajamarca Region, in the northern highlands of Peru.

She is an entrepreneurial mother, and gets help from her daughter. They sell fruit and soda pop. Their business is located in their home; Flor has asked for a loan of 500 PEN to invest in the purchase of snacks, so that she can have additional income for her family.
