A loan of $250 helped to purchase pigs, corn, beans, and sugar for her business.

Doris Maria's story

Doris is a very hardworking, humble, and responsible person who lives in a community south of Honduras with her family. She has been selling pigs and staple grains for 8 years.

Doris has her business in her home and goes out to the surrounding areas to sell in the town where she lives. She needs a loan to buy more pigs, corn, beans, and sugar products so that she can continue carrying out her business which provides a large part of her income.

Doris expects sales to increase with the loan and that this will be of much use since she doesn't have the products that her customers want to cover their requested orders. Thanks to this loan, she will be able to improve the quality of life of her family with her increasing household income.

Doris's dream is that in a short while her business will grow and with this she can continue supporting her family and her children's education.
