Oleg's story

Oleg is 57-year-old married man. He lives in a small village of the Sachkhere district with his wife and 3 children. The family is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, they have 2 cows and a calf. His wife milks the cows every day and produces cheese to sell.

In addition, Oleg has a vineyard and a 5-hectare plot of agricultural land, where he grows maize and haricot. Oleg is a very hardworking man and always has high quality products that are sold to local retailers.

He has a newly opened grocery and needs a minibus to supply his grocery with stock. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative with Kiva and Credo, enables him to get a loan of $5,000 for purchasing a minibus. Once the minibus is purchased, he will be able to offer a wide range of products to his clients. The Start Up program will be a great support for his family.
