Doña María Isabel is married and works in agriculture, she is a hard worker and enterprising at 38 years old. She has 2 children who live at home with her. Her husband is working in the United States and sends money back to his family to cover household expenses. With her children at her side, she has been able to improve her coffee production, being able to get her crops all they need and to also care and protect her plants in order to have a productive harvest. Her fields are located a mere 100 meters from her home where she walks with her children to care for them.
She is currently developing a project that would help her to improve her harvests and to do so, she is asking for fertilizers, manure and fumigation bombs so that her crops are more easily sold and she can truly take advantage of their sale.
Her hopes and dreams are to be able to expand her cultivation, to have more land and to be able to grow a different variety of coffee bean, a variety that is easy to grow because her land is very fertile.

Doña María Isabel es una mujer casada que se dedica a la agricultura, luchadora y emprendedora de 38 años de edad con una familia conformada por 2 hijos los cuales viven en su casa junto a ella. Su esposo se encuentra en EE.UU el cual ayuda con remesas a su familia para que puedan cubrir otros gastos que son necesarios en el hogar. En compañía de sus hijos ha logrado echar a andar sus cultivos de café pudiendo asistirlos con las medidas necesarias y con el sumo cuidado y protección para que la cosecha sea provechosa. Sus cultivos de café están ubicados a 100 metros de su casa de habitación al cual en compañía de sus hijos se traslada caminando diariamente para poder asistirlos.
Actualmente han emprendido un proyecto el cual conlleva al mejoramiento de su cultivo y están solicitando ayuda para la compra de fertilizantes, abono, bombas de fumigación para que esta nueva producción sea más rentable y mejor aprovechada para su venta.
Sus metas y sueños son los de poder ampliar sus cultivos de café logrando comprar más tierra y cultivarla con una variedad diferente como el caturra, el nance entre otras variedades que son factibles de cultivar ya que la tierra es muy fértil.

Agricultural loans are considered risky in Honduras due to external forces like unpredictable weather and worldwide crop prices. As a result, many traditional financial institutions are unwilling to offer these loans.
