A loan of $9,600 helped to pay for equipment and inventory purchases for his massage therapy center.

John Larry's story

John is a retired US Army officer whose own experiences with massage as a remedy for aches and pains inspired him to open a Zen Massage Franchising location in North Charleston, SC.

John says, “I believe in the therapeutic value of massage. Being a retired US Army officer, I have had my share of aches and pains, and massage therapy has been a wonderful alternative to medication and physical therapy. I wanted to be able to share this benefit with others at a reasonable cost with no associated membership fees or club dues.”

John’s dedication to working hard (his location is open seven days a week) and helping others has certainly paid off. After only one year of operation, his massage therapy center became the second most productive in the Zen Massage Franchise, and now – after two-and-a-half years in operation – they are tied for first place.

Help John purchase new equipment and expand the line of esthetic products available to his clients.
