This group comprises six women from the same district who are active in the same business domain of commerce. Ms. Safietou, aged 58, is found at the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is the group's representative and a married mother of seven children, including four boys. She is active in selling vegetables, fish, porridge, and couscous. This is a business she has completely mastered for having been in operation for several years. The profits will go toward savings and to meet family needs, as well as to help out her husband with certain areas of work.
