Galib's story

Galib is a 33-year-old married man. He lives with his wife and mother in a small village of the Bolnisi District. Galib is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, he has a plot of agricultural land where potatoes and maize are grown. He is a very hardworking man and always has high quality products which are sold to local retailers at a good price. In addition, he sometimes works as an artisan and earns income.

Galib decided to start his own business and requested a loan. The start-up program, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables him to get a loan of 2,000 USD to purchase a minibus. As the minibus is purchased, he will trade fruits and vegetables, and he will increase the income of his family.
