A loan of $1,000 helped to buy more shoes in bulk.

Karla Virgilia's story

Karla is 32 years old and lives in a rented house with her husband and three children. Karla has been making a living selling shoes for some years. She sells her products in the market near her house. With profits from sales, and with her husband's help, she is able to cover some household costs. Karla is applying for a loan in order to buy more merchandise in bulk in order to stock up her business further, and to provide the variety that her customers seek. With this she can earn higher profits and give her family a better quality of life.
