Arman's story

Arman is 27 years old and he lives in the city of Vanadzor in the Lori region of Armenia. He lives here with his wife, newborn baby, mother, and sister. His elder sister is married and lives with her family. Arman’s father died unexpectedly. After such great loss in their family, Arman became the only breadwinner. For the past two years, he has had his own business selling fruits and vegetables. In a rented stall he sells beans, potato, onions, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, eggplants, oranges, peaches, apples, pomegranates, lemons, and more. He has a lot of customers who like his stall for the fresh, tasty, and colorful vegetables and fruits. He buys the products for his stall from the local wholesale markets once a week.

Arman asks for a loan of 300,000 Armenian drams in order to buy a lot of fruits and vegetables to sell.
