A loan of $4,900 helped to purchase heaters and install heating systems in green houses.

Oksana's story

Oksana had to leave her hometown of Sukhumi (Georgia). In 1989, together with her family they had to leave this city and move to Ukraine in the Kamenka, Dneiper region. In Sukhumi a war had begun and because of this Oksana had to leave her home and homeland to save her children and forget the horrors of war.

Some relatives had already settled in Kamenka, Ukraine and because of this it was not so difficult.

The first year was hard because they started with nothing. They started in agriculture and their life began to adjust. The family worked, built a greenhouse, and made new friends. Their relatives helped greatly. In this regard they are very friendly. If something bad happens, they consider it their duty to come to the rescue.

Now Oksana has a great big farm, and a few greenhouses. However, this client does not stop there, she continues to improve and expand the business, and this year she will put heating in the greenhouses. A great deal of the help in business development loans came from "Hope Ukraine." This time Oksana is buying a boiler and pipes for 40 thousand Hryvnia, to help her become more profitable in the next year and expand her business - building a large greenhouse.
