Kuña Guapa Group's story

This group is in its ninth cycle of the women's communal bank program. The members are from the city of Luque and they saw a great opportunity for growth so they formed this group. They are breadwinners in their families who decided to go out and work hard for their kids.

One of the members is Maria, a decorator for events. She says she make all kinds of decorations for events and that this is how she helps her family and obtains the means to cover her day to day expenses. She is quite a hardworking person and also an active participant in trainings. Maria requests this loan in order to buy fabric and other decorative items so she can continue offering a good service to her clients. She is thankful to have this opportunity to continue growing and improving her life.
