Kyembare Bakyara Twimukye Group's story

Kyembare Group consists only of women whose major activity is farming, a few of whom are engaged in cattle rearing They applied for loan of UGX 3,200,000. They will divide this money among themselves. They face a challenge of low productivity of their farming businesses due to poor farming methods, price fluctuations, and foot and mouth disease. Their prime target is to obtain high output from their plantings, to have more milk from their cows, and to take their children to better schools in the country. But they are short of capital and funds to enable them achieve their dreams. With this loan, they believe their production will improve and their life style will change in society.
