Del Futuro Del Manu Group's story

The "Del Futuro del Manu" Communal Bank is formed by a group of friends and neighbors. The meetings of the communal bank's female members are every thirty days in the city of Salvación, province of Manu and department of Madre de Dios.

Rocio belongs to the communal bank and is 34 years old. She forms part of a civil union from which she has one child. She was born in the city of Salvación and lives in this same city where she was born. She is involved in a variety of economic activities in the city. Rocio works as a public worker in the management department of the forestry center in Salvación. She also has an artisan stall - in her free time she makes artisan crafts from her home.

It has now been a year since she started making artisan crafts and it is going very well for her thanks to the effort that she puts into this work. This time, Rocio needs a loan to buy dried seeds to make into necklaces and bracelets. Rocio's dream is to export her products. She appreciates and values the loan and is committed to paying each monthly installment.

This communal bank is made up of several people who are constantly seeking opportunities to get ahead, and with their efforts, to give a better future to their children. The members make a living in agriculture, raising and fattening livestock, the resale of wood, the production of artisan crafts, the provision of accommodations, the sale of food and the sale of agro-veterinarian products.

The members are thankful for the opportunity given and are committed to fulfilling their payments according to the terms established.
