Marjorie Marisol's story

This is Marjorie’s second loan, alongside her friends and fellow members of the El Credito group. She lives in Cuenca, a city known for its architectural beauty and named as a World Heritage Site. Its people are friendly, gentile, and maintain the life of culture and traditions of their fathers. She likes her group because of the unity and camaraderie.

Marjorie is 38 years old, is in a common law marriage and has five children, ages 19, 16, 14, 12, and 8. Her oldest son works and helps her financially. Two attend high school and the two youngest attend the local school. Her husband works as a mechanic and they all live in a rented house. Majorie likes cooking very much, and sells food. She gets up very early to prepare the food and has had this business for one year. Things are going well for her and she expects to continue growing. She works M-F.

She will use the money from this loan to buy ingredients. Her goal is to continue growing her business.
