David's story

David is 30 years old, a male and married. He has three children, seven, five and two years old respectively, all of whom he supports. He was introduced to KADET Ltd by a Kadet officer and he works in the bodaboda (motorbike) business. He has been in this business for three years based at Kijiwetanga. In his business he earns a monthly income of KES 13,000. He is taking his third loan of KES 50,000 which he intends to use in repairing, servicing and maintaining his motorbike and buying spare parts. His previous loan of KES 40,000 was paid back successfully. David will use the anticipated profit to buy another motorbike. His hopes and dreams for his future business and family are to educate his children and have a bright future.
