Sokeang is 21 years old, single, and a year-three student at Norton University. She lives with her parents and her other three siblings in Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province.

Sokeang entered the Faculty of Economics and Management program after she graduated from high school in 2011. Her main major is Economics. She has a passion for her major because she is aware that this major is suitable for her personality. Sokeang’s education was subsidized by her parents: her mother is a market-vendor and her father is a farmer, growing beans for sale.

Every year, Sokeang faces the problem of making ends meet at the beginning of the school year, when the additional expenses that are needed to cover college fees are due. She is requesting a loan to pay for her college tuition fees. Sokeang plans to finish university education and use her professional skills in a high-paying company. Sokeang is the borrower of the loan. Her mother stands next to her in the picture.
