A loan of $950 helped to pay for feeds and additional hogs needed in her business.

Lolita's story

Lolita is very thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy additional hogs and feeds for her business, which has been running for 10 years now. Her loan was also helpful in the education of her children. Her income from the business assisted in their everyday household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for a new 40,000 PHP [Philippines pesos] loan for her to buy additional hogs and feeds needed for her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Lolita hopes that her business will continue to grow and dreams to have a better living. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro-finance loans.
