A loan of $325 helped to pay for his studies in Software Development Projects Management.

Herlan's story

Herlan, 28, is single. He was born in Santa Rosa, Luis Calvo province, Chuquisaca department, in Bolivia. He wants to take a diploma degree in Software Development Projects Management at the Computer Sciences Postgraduate Unit of Universidad Autónoma Gabriel Rene Moreno. This will be a specialization track in his Computer Engineering studies. This is why he is requesting a loan at EDUCAPRÓ to pay for his studies.

Herlan works for the Government of Santa Cruz as the person in charge of ICT systems. He lives with his family and this is his only source of income. He does not have other activities besides his studies. His main motivation is to become a professional, considering that his parents could only study up to primary school.

Herlan is good at what he does. He says that he always liked everything related to technology. Despite the obstacles, he is doing what he likes to do and is hoping to get his degree soon with the help of this loan. Although Herlan works, he needs financial support to cover the cost of this degree. He hopes that this will result in more job opportunities and a higher income than the current one.

He believes that what makes him special compared to other candidates is his will to progress and get ahead. The only obstacle he has is that he has to work and study at the same time. Herlan feels happy and grateful to those who so kindly help him and others like him to get ahead.
