A loan of $3,200 helped to buy fixed assets (shelving and a cooler) and wholesale stock (dairy products, meat products, cleaning products, cookies, grains, pastas, oil, sugar, rice, and brown sugar among other basic products).

Fredy's story

At 49 years old, Fredy is the father of one child and is in a civil union with his partner. Throughout his adult life he has worked in construction. However, with the desire to make a better income for his family, he wants to start his own business. To do this, he wants to take advantage of an opportunity that has been presented to acquire a space located near a well-known store in the neighborhood. That's where he wants to start his own grocery business. In order to do this he is requesting the support of this loan to purchase fixed assets such as shelving and a cooler. He also wants to buy wholesale stock like dairy and meat products, cleaning products, cookies, grains, pasta, oil, sugar, rice, and brown sugar, among other basic products. This will allow him to start this project that he hopes will make the income necessary to cover his family's necessities. Fredy believes that although he does not have experience running this type of business, he is really motivated because he sees a great source of income in this. He wants to work hard to get this project going, become profitable, and achieve financial stability in order to provide his family with a better life and wellbeing.
