A loan of $1,650 helped a member to buy ingredients at wholesale.

Los Emprendedores De Juan Pablo Group's story

Sandy Cristy, 23, has a 7-year-old son who is the motor that pushes her to get ahead and to strive daily to be able to provide him with everything needed for his development.

She’s part of the “Los Emprendedores de Juan Pablo” (John Paul’s Entrepreneurs) group which is a recently formed group with six members who are all neighbors with the same goal: to make their businesses grow.

Sandy Cristy has been selling prepared lunches for a little more than a year. She does so in a market near where she lives. She works every day and sells out all the dishes she prepares but she’d like to invest a little more to increase her clientele and her profits.

The loan she got will be used to buy ingredients like rice, sugar, noodles, potatoes and oil. She wants to buy all these storable products at wholesale prices.

In this group: Milka Doris, Sharon Marianella, Erika Patricia, Maria Ana, Luis Eduardo, Sandy Cristy
