Bakhtygul's story

Bakhtygul is 25 years old, is married, and is raising two children with her husband. Bakhtygul has a secondary education.

As the main source of income for her family, Bakhtygul raises livestock. She started her business five years ago with the purchase of a cow for 15,000 somoni. Thanks to Bakhtygul's hard work, her farm now contains two cows and five sheep. Bakhtygul's monthly income is 10,000 somoni.

In order to further expand her farm, Bakhtygul has turned to microfinance bank "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan of 130,000 somoni to purchase calves to raise and resell. Bakhtygul plans to invest the income from the loan to further grow the number of domestic animals on her farm, and plans to accumulate funds to build a house.
