A loan of $1,075 helped to purchase palm oil, flour, and other products to sell.

Amah's story

Amah is a 49-year-old woman who is married to a taxi driver. She has two children, of whom the oldest is 30 years old, and the youngest is 13. Both have had education. Amah has been running her business since 2010 selling palm oil, fermented flour, and a variety of other goods all at her house. Due to transportation problems, she is asking for her fourth loan from WAGES to purchase a new stock of merchandise and to reinvest in her business, so as to earn more profit. She plans on creating other revenue-generating businesses for herself and ensuring good living conditions for the members of her family.
