Christina's story

Christina is 39 year old, and she lives in Sanniquelle, the capital City of Nimba County which is rich in nature resources. Living conditions are much better there than in the capital city Of Liberia, and it is the second largest populate county in Liberia. She stopped her education at 5th grade, and she grew up in the rural area of Sanniquelle, She is married, her husband is a farmer, and they have seven children. Her children are between the ages of 4 to 22. She said, three of her children are in school, and they all live at home.

She received a small amount of money from her husband to establish her business seven years ago. She has been running a small local shop where she makes and sells local soap , palm oil, etc. She spends 10 hours on her business, from Monday to Saturday. A problem she faces is a small income. She will use the loan to purchase more soap, palm oil, caustic, etc., for her business. Her plan is to one day build a modern house. She thanks the lenders for their support.
