A loan of $7,425 helped pay for tuition, books, transportation and more for her studies in medicine.

Victoria's story

Victoria is a young medical student and she is asking for a loan to cover her education expenses and to be able to finish her degree. This is her story:
Hello, my name is Victoria, I am 23 years old, I live in Jima Arriba, I have 6 brothers and 4 brothers. I am not married and I do not have any children. My father is a farmer and my mother is deceased.
I study medicine at the Universidad Católica Tecnológica del Cibao (UCATECI),I have taken many courses in my degree like anatomy, physiology, organic chemistry, epidemiology, research in medicinal sciences, health management and others, but my favorites are anatomy and physiology.
I am applying for this loan because I don't have the economic resources available to pay for my schooling. If I don't get funding, I may not be able to finish my degree, but if I do get funding I will be successful in finishing school and I will be a great professional.
My goals in studying medicine are, first, to pass all of my exams with the best grades possible so I can have a good academic record and I also want to be able to help my family because they are all supporting me and I want to achieve my dreams in order to have a more financially secure future and this would also make be happy because I would be able to help people get and stay healthy. When I am done, I want to study a specialty while I work in the health sector.
