Al-Slama Group's story

This group is called Al-Slama. It consists of four ladies who live in Aden, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 210,000 YER [Yemen rials] from AMB.

Among the borrowers is Nwal, who is a hardworking woman. Nwal is 47 years old, married, and has children. She sells many types of products like clothes, incense and perfumes. She assists her husband in supporting their children because she knows her husband's income is not enough to cover the family expenses. Unfortunately, the money she and her husband make is really not enough to buy a home appliance. She listened to her friends about AMB, so she is requesting a loan from AMB to buy a washing machine for her house. She hopes to improve her family's living conditions.
