Sara's story

Sara, 55, is separated living with her daughters and a niece in Cayalti district, a zone whose population works selling small animals and in agriculture. It’s located two hours from the city of Chiclayo in Lambayeque Region on Peru’s northern coast.

They are a family that strives to have better living conditions. She raises barnyard fowl to sell and earns income leasing out a mototaxi to provide transportation services. She also sells beer and food.

She’s requested a 1,000 new sol loan to buy barnyard fowl and to have more variety to offer her customers thus ensuring higher family income.
