A loan of $1,500 helped to buy potatoes to make french fries.

Felipa's story

Felipa is a 53-year-old-woman. She makes her living packaging and retailing french fries which are sold to vendors in popular markets in the city where she lives. Felipa is married, her husband is already advanced in age so he receives retirement income, but such income is not enough for the high cost of medications he takes. She does not have children who are dependent on them, given that they are all already married or in another apartment and they forgot about their parents.

Felipa is a woman with motivation to get ahead and with much love towards her husband. This is demonstrated by the great sacrifice that she makes to be able to buy the medicine. The purpose of the current loan is to be able to buy more supplies and to be able able to generate more income for the good of she and her husband.
