A loan of $1,300 helped to buy a cow.

Natividad's story

Natividad is 56 years old, and has a basic education having studied through 6th grade. He is married and his wife dedicates herself to domestic activities. Their two children live with them at home, one is married and the other is studying.

Natividad works growing basic grains and raising livestock, work that he learned at an early age. Before having this business he worked in a cantina. Now, his wife and his son help him with his agricultural work.

The loan that he is asking for is to buy a cow, with which he will obtain more milk. In the future, he plans to sell the cow for a better price than that at which he acquired it.

His dream is for his daughter to be able to study at the university and become a professional. With the income he earns from investing this loan, he iwll support his daughter's education expenses, as well as pay for transportation costs and other household expenses.

Natividad is thinking of asking for an even bigger loan, in order to buy more livestock and cultivate much more grain, thereby increasing his family's income and allowing them to live well.
