Channoeun is 25 years old. He is married and lives in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. He is a construction foreman who earns about $10, daily. His wife sells palm juice. She earns about $3 each day.
Due to the difficulty in his family’s transportation, Channoeun is requesting a loan of $1300. He will use it to purchase a motorbike, for commuting to work. This purchase will help him to reduce the family's transportation expenses. In the future he would like to ask for another loan, to expand his wife's business.
