Buscando El Éxito (Cuenca) Group's story

The Buscando el Éxito (Searching for Success) communal bank is made up of 12 female members who live near the city of Cuenca, a city which is surrounded by a rugged terrain through which four rivers flow, and it is the birthplace of famous sportsmen and artists.

The members are women who work hard from day to day to get ahead in life with their families and their business, and their work gives them the opportunity to better themselves. Despite the difficulties that they may have every day, they always wear a smile and have their charisma. They still maintain the culture and traditions from their towns which they were taught by their parents.

One of the members of this group is Mariuxi, who is seeking her second loan together with her friends and neighbors from the Buscando el Éxito loan group. She likes this type of loans as all of her colleagues and friends are united. Mariuxi is 25 years old, she lives in a common-law partnership and has two children aged 8 and 6 as the fruit of this marriage. Her husband works as a private employee, and the home in which they live is their own.

Mariuxi has been working in a market in the city for the last year where she sells food, working from Sunday to Sunday in this business.
She will invest the money from this loan in the purchase of basic goods and dishes for her business. Her aim is to buy herself a vehicle.
