A loan of $1,025 helped to buy fabric at wholesale.

Alina Bartolina's story

Alina, 31, is married with a four-year-old son. She’s been working manufacturing clothing for three years; she makes a variety of women’s blouses. Her workshop is located at home which is in the Villa Concepción neighborhood. Alina will use this loan to buy fabric at wholesale to make the clothing. Her reason for requesting the loan is to increase investment capital because she has pending orders. She also delivers the finished garments to various street markets where her goods are sold. The business challenge that Alina faces is to increase income and she will use profits to invest in supplies to make good quality clothes in order to secure more customer orders. Alina’s a very hardworking woman who feels happy and grateful to the institution for the support provided since this is her only source of income to support herself and her family.
