Kousar's story

Kousar is 36 years old, a married woman and a mother of three. She is a hardworking mother who is helping her family by providing tailoring services in her community. She has been doing it for the past 13 years. She knows the techniques of stitching very well. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life. To help her continue operations of her business, Kousar has requested a loan of PKR 25,000 to buy a stock of threads in different colors with packs of zippers, buttons etc. She is currently in her third loan cycle with the Kashf Foundation and has shown a good credit repayment behavior in the past. In addition to expanding her business she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
