Lucy has a retail shop in Kangundo town where she sells household goods. She has been in the business for 14 years and she makes a monthly income of 50,000 Kes. Lucy is 37 years old and married to Antony, who also provides income. They have been blessed with two children.
Lucy plans to use the loan amount to buy household goods such as water basin and buckets, plates, cooking pans and spoons for resale. She anticipates to make more profit which will be used to provide for the family's needs.
This is her fourth loan term and she paid all her previous loans successfully. In the future Lucy hopes to own a wholesale shop.
