A loan of $275 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries, and beverages needed in her business.

Luzviminda's story

Luzviminda is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy more products for her variety store, which has been running for eight years now. Her loan also helped in the education of her children. Her income from the business assisted in their everyday household expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 11,000 PHP loan for her to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages, and other products to add in her inventory. The more items displayed at the store the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from the business will definitely help sustain her family’s daily needs and children’s education expenses. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Luzviminda hopes that her business will continue to flourish and dreams to give her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members every week to share stories of her life and business and to draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and the word of God she studies.

All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
