Eneris's story

Eneris, 33, has a family consisting of her spouse and two children who are 9 and 13 years old. She’s been a manicurist for 8 years and also a merchant selling beauty products and varied items via specialized catalogs.

When she started her productive life she decided to become an apprentice to learn how to provide hand beauty services and she acquired experience among her family members and friends. Later on, she added multinational firms to sell their products via catalog. She sells for cash and on credit and works every day from 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening non-stop. Today, she’s even more determined to make the business grow increasing the number of her customers and expanding her income more each time.

This is the reason for her Kiva loan, her first financing from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, that she will use to buy perfume, creams and women’s accessories aiming at starting her dream of prosperity that will gradually come to be. She will lengthen her payment terms to match her competition’s which is her greatest challenge.
