Esmeralda Del Carmen

For a few years now, she has sold these products from her home with the help of her husband and her two oldest children. With the money she earns they manage to cover some of the household expenses. Esmeralda is asking for a credit to buy more scrap metal and glass, so she can continue working and improve her income which would bring more economic stability to her family.

Esmeralda vive en casa propia con su esposo, sus 7 hijos y un nieto, ella se dedica a la compra y venta de chatarra como: aluminio, cobre, bronce, plástico, hierro, etc. desde hace varios años, comercializa sus ventas en su lugar de residencia, con lo que obtiene de sus ganancias, con la ayuda de su esposo y de sus dos hijas mayores logran cubrir algunos gastos de su hogar, doña esmeralda esta solicitando un crédito para la compra de mas chatarra y vidrio, y así poder seguir con su trabajo y obtener mejores ganancias para tener una mejor estabilidad económica con su familia.

This loan will help a low-income family purchase environmentally-friendly goods and equipment, including solar products (lights, water pumps, heaters), biodigesters, energy-efficient light bulbs and gas stoves. Lacking electricity, many people in rural El Salvador are forced to use firewood for cooking and kerosene for lighting, expensive solutions that endanger their health and well-being. By funding this loan, you are providing access to greener, healthier alternatives.
