Habiba's story

Habiba M. is a Tanzanian businesswoman who runs two companies in the Buguruni area of Dar-es-Salaam --- a charcoal store and a café. Her businesses are three years old. She purchases charcoal bags wholesale and sells them retail to customers. Demand for charcoal is high because it is the main source of power in developing countries such as Tanzania.
