Arkadi is from Vanadzor town. He has been involved in the production of cutlets for almost two years. Arkadi produces cutlets and sells them to local restaurants. Due to his high quality work, Arkadi was able to form agreements with many local restaurants who order cutlets only from him. Now Arkadi needs financial support to purchase a meat grinder needed for the production. The current meat grinder that Arkadi owns is in nonworking condition, so he has applied for this loan. He has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The startup loan program provides business startup loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. The loan is very important for Arkadi and he hopes for lenders' support. Arkadi lives with his brother and his parents live in the neighboring country. Arkadi is seeking a job for sustaining their son's living.
