A loan of $300 helped to buy agricultural inputs, such as herbicides, fertilizers, and insecticides.

Juan Jose De La Cruz's story

Juan is married and lives with his wife and their 17-year-old child. He makes a living by raising farm animals and growing bulk grains. He inherited this business from his parents, and he has been working in agriculture for 30 years alongside his children. He works daily from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm and takes advantage of all the resources available to him. He doesn't pay to rent the land where he raises livestock, and the harvest also provides feed for the animals.

He is requesting a loan to buy agricultural inputs, including herbicides, fertilizers and insecticides. He will use these when he is planting bulk grains. In addition, he will plant some vegetables, which will increase his earnings and allow him to pay back the debt he is taking on.

Juan's dream is to expand his business so that his family won't have as many constraints, and to achieve better living conditions in this way.
