Tazeem is living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan, with her spouse and five children. Her husband owns a small jewelry shop, in which he sales bracelets, bangles, lockets, necklaces, rings and earrings. He presents his jewelry under a display glass case for the attraction of customers.
Her husband has only one source of income, and he has to meet the expenses of utility bills, school fees of his children and household expenses, alone. He wants to offer precious stones for embroidering on bridal dresses, because most of his customers demand it. But he can not offer this product due to the high cost. Therefore, Tazeem requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner’s BRAC Pakistan, so that her husband would be able to buy stones and could earn the maximum income.
She hopes that she will be able to construct her house soon, so that her family members pass their lives comfortably.
Tazeem is very thankful to Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan because they showed her a beam of hope to fulfill her desires.
