A loan of $950 helped to buy firewood.

Loko Paul's story

Loko Paul, aged 58, is married to a merchant named Mahoussi. The couple have six children, some of whom are enrolled in school and all of whom are still their parents' responsibility.

Loko Paul was not able to attend school, but he learned carpentry, a business activity that he has been in for 16 years, working out of his home. He lives with his wife and children. The household expenses are covered by the couple.

In order to fully assume his responsibilities, Loko Paul also sells firewood. He stocks up on firewood in his region. Wishing to grow that activity, he is requesting his sixth loan from ALIDé. His prior loans were correctly reimbursed.
