A loan of $525 helped to buy rice, vegetable oil and plates.

Justine Huénamon's story

Justine Huénamon is a 60-year old widow with two children in her care, one of whom goes to school. She lives with her children and covers all the household expenses herself. She did not go to school and so, in order to provide for her family's needs, she has for the past ten years been selling food (rice with sauce and fish) from her home. She sells plates as a secondary activity.

Justine Huénamon gets her supplies in a Benin market. With a view to diversifying her business and responding better to customer demand, she is requesting a fifth loan from Alidé. The previous loans have all been repaid in full.
