Zemfira's story

Zemfira is a 57-year-old widowed woman. She has one son. Zemfira is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with her son in the Agdash IDP Settlement. She is a Fuzulu refugee.

When she was 30, she started to learn to work in agriculture. Her parents were the ones who taught her to grow fruits and vegetables, since it was their only source of income. She has been growing vegetables and fruits for more than 10 years.

Zemfira’s income from her business is 150 AZN. In order to increase the living conditions of her family, she plans to expand her business. This requires a lot of dedication and effort. She believes in the near future her sons will help her to expand the business. Since the vegetable and fruits business is profitable and a fun business, she wants the business to continue and prosper. Zemfira needs a 1500 AZN loan to buy fertilizers, seeds and fruit trees.

Her biggest wish is to offer her son an education so that he can have a good career and help his mother. This is going to be her first loan. Zenfira hopes that Kiva will help her.
