Sadaddin's story

Sadaddin is 39 years old. He is married and he has four children. Sadaddin is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Agdash IDP Settlement. He is a Fuzulu refugee.

He grows seasonal fruits and vegetables such as corn, cucumber, tomatoes, apples, pears, peaches, plums, and cherries. He has eight years of experience, but in spite of the short period he has been in this business, he has gained respect from local vendors because he produces a good organic crop without chemical fertilizers.

Fresh fruits are served on every Azerbaijani family's table and also used to make fresh punch.

Sadaddin sells his crop from his yard and sometimes takes it to the local bazaar. His monthly income is 100 AZN and he would like to expand his business and purchase more seeds and fertilizers to improve the quality of his crops and increase his sales. For this purpose, he applied for a loan of 1000 AZN. This will be his first loan.
