A loan of $3,000 helped to buy grocery products.

Abduhalil's story

Abduhalil is 49, married, and lives in the city of Dushanbe. He has an 18 year old daughter and three sons, ages 23, 20, and 14. His wife is a homemaker, his daughter and youngest son are in school, one son is serving in the army, and the other works as a cab driver. Abduhalil opened a fast food shop near the marketplace two years ago, and now his father and brother work there. He is a very determined person and has rented a small space near his home to use as a grocery store. He wants to use the loan to purchase food products, including butter, sugar, flour, salt, waffles, cookies, pasta, noodles, yogurt, and many others. His father, brother, wife and children are all working hard to open the store, so it will be a family-run business.
