Katty Cecibel's story

The “Julio Cesar” (Julius Caesar) communal bank meets every fifteen days in Campoverde near Pichincha Canton. This place is noted for being near a dam and most of its residents work in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Katty, 26, lives here. She’s in a common law relationship and has a six-year-old son attending school. Her husband works for a private firm. She learned beauty some time ago in a center in her city.

Katty’s a very hardworking woman who likes to fend for herself and generate her own income for her family’s well-being. To do so, she works in the beauty industry and also as a merchant selling clothes of all types as well as shoes and cosmetics. She leaves home carrying her work materials and merchandise since in general her customers buy articles of clothing from her or contract her for some job. She’s been in this activity 8 years and it helps her get ahead.

This loan is to buy clothes, shoes and cosmetics. She’s been in the communal bank since the beginning and likes it because the loans help her much. Her dream is to give her son the best always.
