A loan of $1,175 helped to buy for more vegetables and fruits for her business.

Guadalupe's story

Guadalupe is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her, as she was able to buy more fruits and vegetables for her business. Her income is a big help for their household's everyday expenditures. Aside from her fruits and vegetables business, she also has a variety store for additional income. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan for her to purchase more fruits and vegetables needed in her business. She will also use the loan to buy grocery items for her variety store. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Guadalupe hopes that her business will continue to flourish, and dreams of having a better living. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business, and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All Center for Community Transformation Credit Cooperative (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
